Lino Ortiz is The Alpha Group Regional Sales Manager covering Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Bakersfield, Kern, and Lancaster in Southern California.

Lino had his start in the pool industry in 2001 when he responded to an ad looking for a fluent bilingual Spanish speaker to join a retail pool shop in the San Fernando Valley. Learning service, repair, remodeling, and pool construction, he continued on his own for many years. His exceptional customer service, problem solving prowess, and technical expertise allowed him to gain and retain great relationships with customers and colleagues throughout the years. All this while putting himself through college.

Shortly after graduating from Pepperdine University, Lino took on a management position with Poolcorp, relocating him to the bay area in Northern California. Hitting the ground running learning the landscaping industry at Horizon, allowed Lino to have a comprehensive understanding on what it takes to finish a backyard. After some time Lino joined a manufacture, inspiring product innovation, training, while continuing to build and maintain relationships until joining The Alpha Group.

Lino’s path with The Alpha Group is simple, continue to serve the pool industry and provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise via our many wonderful manufactures.

On his free time Lino enjoys traveling, fishing, golfing, scuba diving, running, and cooking out on the bbq. Spending time with his family and close friends is what he values the most.
